Not sure what you mean about the Panda. But the legal like answer/joke was to indicate I do not take myself or these haikus too seriously, though they are heart/gut felt.
Oh! I had sent you an email postcard with a Panda on it which looks like a police car if you stretch your imagination. It's funnier now in retrospect that you answered that way and had not seen the card. You must have intuition.

It's interesting how you answered that as if in law. Is it because of the way I worded the question or the Panda?
I normally don't read poetry or haikus however I think your haikus are quite good!

Or maybe it was the way the question was worded and the Panda influenced the tone of the question.
