However, the baby is also a patient. I think one should ask the baby one kick for yes and two kicks for no.

It is not a baby until it is born. The fetus does not get to vote. When the baby is born, I will vote for him/her.

Whoa...that's discrimination. Why does there have to be a threshold? Is it because they did not get good enough "grades" ? I missed the deleted comment, can you give us a filtered version?

Backing up when I said that's discrimination I should have put that in the form of a question; (please excuse me "Jeopardy" - the TV show) is that discrimination? I did not mean to be confrontational or put you in a bad light by making it a statement. I think a question is meant to make it more thought provoking that provoking ire. I think I've been listening to too many politicians running for office.

Geez, must not be my week...that should have been; than provoking ire not that provoking ire. However back to your comment, I'd have to think about that some more. That's an interesting way to look at potential cells that go into creating a new person. Off the top of my head I would say since female eggs "automatically" disappear unless fertilized I would say no it's not murder because that is what naturally happens. As for the male I don't know if masterbation is "natural" or "unnatural". Some would say it's a perversion. I think once conception occurs that is a cell on the way to becoming a person.

Your comment 6/13/2009 3:49am was said in jest, right? I get on a roll and I did not recognize it right away as humor.
