Honor Our Soldiers

Cut, cap and balance:

Here are the soldiers who have served five, six, seven missions in Afghanistan and Iraq.

His benefits will be cut.

His salary will be capped.

Our values are balanced on their shoulders alone.

The contractor who built his barracks with a no-bid contract did an inferior job and pocketed the cash.

Dark Times

Cut, cap and balance:

Here is the worker.

His salary will be cut.

His benefits will be capped.

He will have to balance precariously until he dies.

The owner of the building gets a lower tax rate.

Springtime in Bethesda

I have lived in Boston, South Bend, San Diego, all over Los Angeles from Culver City to West Hollywood to Northridge, Hawthorne, Seattle, Bloomington (go IU), Cambridge, Arlington and Bethesda. Of those, Springtime in Bethesda is the most beautiful, with its variety of flowers
and vivid colors. For me words cannot describe; while the cherry trees are remarkable, my neighbor's apricot tree is stunning.
